I am going to do a degree which includes pilot studies.

From what I understand, the pilot studies is part of the course but the cost is not included in the course fee.

You have to complete something like 20 hours of flying to pass that part of the degree, and as I said the cost of those hours aren't included in the course fee.

It's about £150 a lesson (per hour), so that's £3000 ish that I have to pay. That's £3000 more than I can afford.

Can I get this ~£3k included in my student loan, as I wouldn't be able to fund it otherwise, which could cause me to fail or get a bad grade in the degree?

    Hi Running,

As this isn't included in your fees we wouldn't be able to provide additional funding for this part of your course.

If you won £30,000, which of these would you spend it on?
