I'm currently studying Fashion Design and Garment Technology at Birmingham City University but I'm not happy with the design side to the course or the city. I have received an unconditional offer from MMU to transfer in my second year. I'm originally from Manchester and the course includes the same content. However, if I stay at BCU I will be in the new building next year and can start to specialise in the technical side which is what I want so there'd be less focus on the design side for me. I prefer Manchester as a city to Birmingham but I'm unsure if I should transfer or not since I don't know exactly what the course at MMU will be like or if it will even be better, I just wanted to transfer there because of the city. I've compared both universities and courses online and BCU appears to be better but I was wondering if anyone has any helpful advice from their experience of MMU or BCU, either about the uni or the course? Thanks

Did you meet the A-level requirements for the course at MMU?
