I am a Computer Scientist, a course that seems to get shafted by others, as people seem to perceive it as a bunch of male basement dwellers. Obviously, this is not true (well, except for the male part), but I'm curious (girls in particular) as to whether you'd have a different opinion on someone once they'd told you their course. I know several people that always lie about their course on nights out, as they don't want girls to be put off by their partaking in a course that they feel isn't 'cool' to others.

So simple question people: would you change your view of someone you've met, after they've mentioned having an 'uncool' course, such as mine?

Nope. My opinion of a person would depend on their personality. Just because someone does a subject that some people consider as 'uncool' doesn't mean that they're automatically 'uncool'. Anyone that changes their view of someone based on something as trivial as this isn't really worth your time imo.
