I wasn't sure where to post this but this seemed like an appropriate place.
I got my C1 and C2 (maths) results back today and got 100 in C1 and (a disappointing) 82 in C2. However, due to the fact a kid collapsed half way through my C2 exam (true story) I have a chance to retake it for free.
I'm planning to apply to some of the top Universities (e.g Imperial, Cambridge, ect...) for a maths, physics or engineering based course, and I have heard that many of these Universities don't take too kindly to resits. Would it be better to resit the exam or leave it as it is in regards to my chances at getting in to one of these Universities?

Suggest you check out the 'resit policy' on the relevant Uni's websites. Most Unis are now very open about their policy on resits and and its usually contained within a document called something like 'Admissions Policy'.
