I have two offers, one to study Sport, Coaching and Physical Education at Oxford Brookes, and another to study Physical Education (QTS) at University of Bedfordshire.

My dilemma is, I'm almost certain that I want to be a P.E teacher, which means I should go to Bedfordshire, but I don't want to restrict my options. Plus I think Oxford is an amazing city so I'd have a better life there. However the career prospects are probably better at Bedfordshire.

    Advice please!

Man your lucky, go with Bedfordshire. I applied for that course but got rejected. But I got on there sport and physical education. So am reasonable happy with that as I want to become a PE teacher. I wish I got on that course but I don't have the grades, though got experience and sport coaching qualification. Am off to Bedfordshire in September. Have you been to the open days or applicant days. I can't wait to go there. Might see you there if you decided to go. QTS courses are really hard to get offers, so your really lucky.

I been working most of last five years. Been in various jobs, my favourite was as a sport coach in primary schools. Doing after school clubs and pe lessons. I totally loved it, it's what am passionate about. Working with children is my passion and sports are as well. I have always known this but didn't think to go down this path.i had another career in mind which I haven't been able to get to. Doing jobs you hate, for little money, long hours. Has made me realise that I had to do something to do a job I really enjoy. So I decided to apply and now am off to Bedfordshire in September. My offer unconditional and I firmed it. So I got my place there. I done student finance, just waiting to get email about applying for accommodation. Which should be opening mid march, I ask about it. Am going to apply to stay in liberty park. Just can't wait for September.

Personally I take pe at A2 level and all my pe teachers went to Bedfordshire university to study your course! The pe teachers are the best I have had! So through there teaching I would advise Bedfordshire!
I live In Dunstable which is near Bedfordshire! The Luton campus hasn't got that good name, but you will be studying the best course they do plus you will be based on the Bedford campus!
