When friends of parents add you on facebook Watch

Do you sometimes feel obliged to accept?

My mother is not on facebook, my stepfather is but he is fairly passive (there is a group related to his work that he wanted to join, but he doesn't add people, especially not me or my sister).

My sister is friends with our uncle, I am not. Now I see that the mother of a childhood friend has added me, she is also my parents neighbor.
I just find stuff like this odd - we never ever speak and I live abroad. My mum says she would never join facebook but I know she is snoopy, she's googled me several times and previously opened my letters. She is overly curious and also very critical. I am actually afraid they'll join forces and that this woman will report back to mum.
I don't have drunken or undressed photos, but mum has very low tolerance of what she finds acceptable. She doesn't even find it appropriate to have photos from a nice holiday as it's "bragging".

Do any of you have friends of parents or relatives on facebook? Or do you ignore friend requests?

I wouldn't accept her, especially if you think she'll snoop.
