Hello people, i want to change my universities, but the 14 day expiry date went a long time ago, with clearing would i be able to do the same course in a different uni??, i was stupid and applied for the wrong uni's (in my opinion) and i don't think i can get the grades because of last years work ( i do BTEC), anyways i would like some advice on what to do.

Have you used all of your 5 choices?
If not then just add on another choice as a late application - contact the university concerned first to see if they're still accepting applications.
If you've used all 5 choices then have you replied to your offers yet (ie told UCAS your firm)?
If not then you can decline any offers you have and apply to other universities through Extra now. As with late applications you need to contact universities first to check if they have spaces and to see if your predicted grades are likely to get an offer. With Extra you apply to one university at a time and so it is important to do your research BEFORE you send off an application to make sure you pick your top choice first.
If you have firmed one of your choices then you can still be released from that commitment. You'll need to ring your firm and explain that you've changed your mind and have no intention of taking up the place. At this point in the cycle you will be released into Extra rather than clearing (and the process is the same as above.
You would only go into Clearing if you were holding no offers by July OR if you are holding an offer and miss the offer conditions AND your firm choice rejects you.
