Doctor says something wasn't right on my ECG test watch

For a few weeks my chest has felt a little strained. The doctor suggested that I should have an ECG test. Today the results came in, and I was told that my ECG test showed 'something wasn't normal'.

I'm a fit person, my BMI index shows I am not overweight and I exercise regularly. Does anyone on here know what 'something isn't normal' on an ECG test means?

    Feeling a little anxious here

Sorry...I doubt anyone can help you. There are quite a few things that can cause an abnormal ECG. Unless he can tell you or you post the ECG results.

I would just lay off the exercise for now.

Having an abnormal ECG does not necessarily mean something incredibly serious that cannot be treated.

You could have asked him for a print out of the summary.

OP are you a delinquent? You got told there's something's not normal with your heart, and you walked away without finding out what's wrong?

I was told my ECG was not normal too. Turned my heart beat is slightly irregular, but nothing to worry about as loads of people have it too.
