Hi, well I applied for an animal course via UCAS. But I've recently changed my mind and want to go onto do Nursing, and declined the unconditional offer (already got A levels last year, been on gap year). Now I'm not eligible for Xtra, I have to wait untill 'new choices' in July apparently? Do you reckon I could contact the uni in question to see if they'd accept me before hand, or would they not? Thanks for the help!

You can ask. Phone the Nursing Dept and ask.
Its up to them if they consider you or not, but be aware that most Unis wont now accept undergrad applications outside UCAS.
[Warning to anyone else having 2nd thoughts about course choices - dont turn the place/offer away until you've explored all 'change course' options with that Uni.]
