Is it possible to drop an As Level halfway through the year, because you're not enjoying it? I've been wanting to drop Physics since almost the first week of taking it, but apparently I'm not allowed to drop the subject (not change to another subject, just drop it completely) at this stage, according to my physics teacher. Is this true, and is there any reason why?

I've also just found out that I've got a D in the first unit of Physics, and I think the extra work put into Physics to try and get a good grade out of it is pulling the other subjects that I've taken down-I was hoping to get AAA in the first moduble but ended up with ABB.

    Thanks in advance.

Yeah u can drop it, loads of people in my college have dropped a subject half way through the year. It will just mean that u can't drop anything next year and u don't end up with an AS grade(which some unis require)
