Is it mostly freshers who live in campus? Do most older students move off campus or far away from the uni? Curious cause I'm an international student going to be in my last year and wondering if it'll be mostly freshmen on campus? Not that its a bad thing but just wouls like to hang with more my age as well

It's the norm to move off-campus into shared houses after your first year, though some international students (and a few UK students) do stay in halls for all three years. However, this is the case for just about every university in the UK, so it won't be any different at Reading! Don't forget that it is very common for a UK student to take a gap year, so many students in halls will be 19/20 and substantially more mature than more 18/19 year olds fresh out of school.

If you want to meet people who are from your own age group, then I would suggest joining some societies http://manchesterstudentsunion.com/groups
