I wrote each tense on a flash card and memorised them. Then once i felt comfortable with it, i tried to make sentences with the verbs. It also helps if you can speak Spanish as much as possible with a classmate or getting a parent to ask you something in english and then replying in Spanish (Don't be tempted to use sloppy spanish just because they cant understand you )

Before you know it it'll all fall into place

Thanks mate, will give it a go. One question though, what did you put on the flashcards? Only, I've never used flashcards before

I'd definitely recommend this boox http://www.amazon.co.uk/501-Spanish-...2757183&sr=1-1

I've never really got into flash cards, so I just rote learn them.

I put the basic verbs (Hablar, Comer and Vivir) and then separated the stem from the each verb ending
