Large red marks on skin? watch

    • Thread Starter

I am white skinned, and for the last year, I've had some weird, irregularly shaped large red marks appear on the skin on my lower stomach. They are roughly oval shaped, and more have spring up more recently.

They don't itch or anything and there is no pain. Everything feels normal as if there is no difference, apart from the colour of the skin. I've shown it to my parents and they are puzzled too.

I've searched on the internet to see what this could be, or if I should worry about it, but found nothing. I looked for symptoms of skin cancer, but none of them remotely matches what I have.

Is is normal for patches of your skin to just randomly change colour? Has anyone here ever experienced this, or could know what it is? Should I go to my GP about it?

I would go to my GP. Better safe than sorry.
