    Alphabetical order mate.
Yeah I messed the alphabetical order up as well, maybe as it was just a one marker they will be lenient with that alphabet thing

Yes, I think most people had been too caught up on where the actual groups are on the Carbon atoms-they forget to put the name in alphabetical order..
was the amino acid methionine the Rf, the quetion above was it adsorption

the question on the ester, write the ester , was the product water and the structure you had to join those ends as water was removed?

    9 carbon? I don't think that right.
There are 10 carbons in both of those pictures, 6 on the ring, one for the ester bond and 3 on the other side

    Any ideas on grade boundaries
In January it was 51/60 for an A grade. I think this exam had some trick questions, so hopefully they may pull it down to about 47/60 for an A. What does everyone else think?

Can't you name it as a phenylamine and have the -OH as a hydroxyl group?

HAS ANYONE GOT CH(CH3)2COOC6H5 as their L?
That is correct I think I had the carboxylic acid and phenol bit the wrong way round in the ester, top structure is correct, second is wrong! The second is what I put

what did people put for the type of isomer?
i believe it was optical isomerism
cus it couldnt have been ez as there wasnt any carbon-carbon double bond
