    Hi

I've been invited by nissan to do the online assessments. My numerical side is pretty solid but i always seem to mess up on the other tests (personality, verbal/logical reasoning etc)

I was just wondering if anyone could give me any advice on how to answer these questions or how to prepare for these tests.

the tests are conducted by SHL on demand.

hey, if you want to practice some verbal reasoning then you might be interested in this

I did an internship with a psychometric test publisher and theyre letting me use their verbal reasoning test as part of my dissertation research.

If you complete it I'll also send you an ability performance report so you get a bit of feedback and see how well you did compared to other people
    http://surveys.fahs.surrey.ac.uk/np0...&hid_pagenum=0

It has some quick logic reasoning tests at the start before it links to the psychometric at the end.
    Only takes abot 25mins

Regarding personality tests you cant really mess these up, as there is no right or wrong answer, although they might have an ideal candidate in mind. They are designed to create a kind of profile of you and your typical behaviour and see if you match the work ethic etc of the company.

Its also to see if you are likely to react to problems and work situations in the right sort of way. for example if your applying for a managerial role then your responses need to illustrate that you can confidently make decisions and lead a good example and encourage others to work towards the shared goal etc.
This is all probably just for the initial sifting stage so in an interview they might ask you to elaborate a bit more on your work style preferences and use your personality questionnaire results as something to go by

    Hope that helps!
