    Hi all,

I've enquired about this a few times, so I just want to get verification, can you apply to UK universities by repeating your A levels, even if your first attept was done 10 years ago.

I'm currently applying to the Republic of Ireland for Dentistry for 2014, as they accept repeated A levels, but I don't know whether the UK would accept repeated A levels on the basis of the fact I did them ages ago.

To be precise, I did my A levels first time around in 2004, scoring C's, but have started from scratch this time obtaining A/A* grades so far.

Would the fact I did my A levels 10 years help ignore the issue, or is that me barred for life regards to the UK?

    Just curious thanks.

I guess they might admire your effort. Though you should contact all the universities, explain your situation, and see what they say
