# Possible A* in Maths and Further Maths? watch

1. Here are my UMS scores from my modules. I am doing the OCR MEI course.

C1 - 77
C2 - 93
C3 - 97
C4 - June

FP1 - 87
M1 - 80
D1 - 72
S1 - 78
S2 - June
S3 - June
M2 - June
FP2 - June

At the moment I am sitting at A's in both maths and further maths. I think the unit for my maths AS are C1, C2, D1 and for further maths they are combined as: FP1, M1, S1.

Is it possible for me to achieve A* in both? Or only in 1?

I heard I need an average of 90% in C3 and C4 for the maths A*, but I am unsure about further maths.

Thanks,
Sora
2. so lucky, you only need 83 ums in c4. you can definitely get a A* in maths , for f.maths get above 90ums in three of your modules
3. So it is still possible even with my mediocre AS results UMS marks?
4. you need a above 90 ums average in three of your applied modules.

S2

S3
M2
FP2
good luck.

you need an A overall for your AS and then above 90 for three a2/as modules. you can swap around your modules A2 and AS to give you the best possible final a-level grade.

Yes, you are still OK.

The rules are:
For Maths at least 480/600 overall and 180 from C3 and C4.
For Further Maths at least 480/600 and at least 270/300 from your best A2 units (in your case the best 3 from S2, S3, M2 and FP2).
The system will automatically shift your applied units around to get you the best possible grades.
7. This is good news! Thanks guys
