I'm in my last year of highschool and for College I am thinking of taking Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. However, Maths is a stronger subject for me then Physics as I am currently on an A* for Mathematics but an A for Physics. Mathematics is my favourite subject and I am thinking of taking Further Maths instead of Physics. I think I would do better and enjoy it more but I don't know if an AS Level in Further Maths (as I'd drop either that or Physics in the second year) would look as good if I'm looking to study Medicine at University. I heard that some Universitys only count Further Maths as one A Level and if this is the case I don't want to close any doors on potential Universitys.
So would it be more beneficial for me to take Further Maths or Physics as an AS Level? I prefer Maths but if it's going to put me in a worse place then I'd much rather take Physics.

I would advise you to take Physics. I was in the same position as you and didn't know whether to take further maths or not. I rang up quite a few medical school and the majority said it was fine but some (can't remember which) said it would be counted as one with maths. Medical school is competitive enough so I wouldn't restrict yourself from some medical schools already before even starting AS levels!!!
