    Hi,

I'm (hopefully) going to Coventry Uni for nursing september intake 2013, but I don't know what to do about accomodation.

I've definitely got to move up there, but my boyfriend wants to move up with me which I'm happy with but we've looked into flats in Earlsdon and they're asking for like 700pound a month!

I was wondering if anyone knows if two people can flatshare/houseshare and if you have to pay for 2 people or just the one room?

Or any other tips would be helpful,
    Thank you!

but there have been mixed opinions regarding staying there. Probably worth at look though.

I'm not sure if halls would accept couples. I've seen some universities where you can live together, but I think that's for two students. The Victoria Halls (a private company who operate across the country) do have some nice studio rooms being built, so you could ask them. I think Singer Halls also have rooms for couples or maybe small families.

£700pcm for Earlsdon... Hmm. For two people, that's quite a lot. Next year we are paying around £1500 for 5 people for a house. There are certainly some cheaper one-bedroom flats going around. It depends on the landlord... Some will charge per room and others per person. It would be easier if he had a job though.

I had a quick look on Rightmove and there are plenty of flats and houses for far less, but certainly not as high quality. There's an estate which comes up as "Caister Hall" (they're not halls) and the flats there aren't too bad. That's around £600pcm for 1 bedroom (I think they're furnished with a double bed in most cases). Most things under £500pcm start to go downhill in quality.

Can he get a job at all? What sort of financing do you have too?

He has a job, he works in Admin and gets around 930 a month.

Thanks for any help, so many different options!
