Nope, 1 methyl group and 1 OH group.
    Have a look here:

How have you got access to paper already??? Not that I'm complaining.

You know where it had the energy profile diagram drawn, and it asked for enthalpy change when 240 dm^3 is formed, did you have to times by 5 or 10?

I'd beg differently, in my humble opinion it would be lower.

Someone posted it a few pages back. It's not the whole of it though.

Also, would it matter if I spelled equilibrium incorrectly? My hands wanted to spell it "Equilibreum" I don't know

The double bonds could form in one of two different places (either side of the -OH group that got removed). I think that's what you were referring to, but that's not called cis/trans.
yeah if you extend the chain it shows c=-c-c-c-c and c-c=c-c-c so basically two places in the pentagon(5 sided shape) where the double bond had to be shown.! double bond in each pentagon shape thingy

Did you put a negative sign though?
I did yes because it stated energy was released

What would have happened if I mentioned a reduction in rate for the lack of catalyst but not anything about the position of the equilibrum
Likely the mark scheme will say "ignore mentions of rate of reaction", so you won't lose anything for putting that. However, you needed to have put that the position of the equilibrium does not change as well, to get the mark.

Damn, I put that then I changed it at the end. Looking over your paper more than twice isn't such a good idea.

The question said "Suggest the structure" rather than write the equation, so you weren't expected to draw anything except for the cyclooctane. You won't lose any marks.
Oh good! I was doubting myself for a minute !!

Hey you know the equilibrium question? Did you put left and left or left and right or what.

I can't even remember . I think I counted the moles wrong for the pressure. Damn
