On Thrusday I got the results of my first module for my Learning for Life and Work module.

LLW is by CCEA in Northern Ireland.

I got a B, which disappointed me as I really wanted an A, though I knew that was impossible as the main part of the exam (parenting) had not been taught to us by our teacher. Other classes in my Year had been taught it though.

I was thinking of resitting my exam but the module is only worth around 13% of my final exam.

Even though it is a compulsary subject, most universitys dont include it on the entry forms for some reason.

Should I repeat the exam or just continue, as there are two more exams and controlled assesments. Controlled assesments are worth 60% over-all.

Hi, I did my LLW GCSE last year and managed to get an A* despite getting a B Grade in one of the exam modules (employablility.)
If I were you I wouldn't resit as the controlled assessment is fairly easy to get good grades if you put some work in

What percentage did you get in your overall grade? if you don't mind me asking is it 70% for an A in LLW or is it 80%. Just wondering because i'm not sure what mark I need to achieve an A grade, I know this an old thread but I really want to know because my LLW exam starts in 9 days.
