    I've never been given money for 'good' exam results. We do celebrate with a takeaway though - which is perfect for me. I love my food.

    When exams finished i gave my daughter a versace bag and micheal kors braclet and a moschino purse and thats just for sitting the exams so she cant wait for results presents on thurs, i think both money and presents are fine but its up to each parents indivually

    She's a lucky girl well my parents will just congratulate me and take me out for a meal. Self satisfaction in ones capabilities - is the most rewarding thing!

    My parents never gave me money for my results, I don't think it's needed. Trying hard in school was something I did for myself, not for my parents. Plus they have spent enough money raising me through education and spent time helping over the years, if anything I should be paying them.

    Hey, if you feel that the money they gave you was not deserved, or more than you'd expect, give it (or some of it) it charities, that way you've helped someone else who needs it and hopefully made yourself feel more relaxed? (probably not the best thing too say, can't think of a better word or phrase) :grin:
