Yes, I'm handling the preview thread again, but don't worry! My internet is fine and I'm unemployed so I've had all the free time in the world to research and proof read. If you see any mistakes this time, it's probably just your imagination. (but let me know anyway :p:)

    RDG: Red Data Girl

    Website: http://rdg-anime.jp/
    Animation Studio: P.A. Works
    Japanese Airdate: Mar 16, 2013
Seiyuu: Uchiyama Kouki, Hayami Saori, Fukuyama Jun
Director: Shinohara Toshiya (Kuroshitsuji, Tatakau Shisho: The Book of Bantorra)
    PV:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9-mLrm-anM

    (Original post by Summary:)
A modern fantasy based on Japanese Shinto legends. Suzuhara Izumiko is a 15-year-old girl, who has been raised and protected in a shrine deep in the Kumano mountains. She is quite shy and destroys all the electric devices she touches. When she begins to think about going out of the mountains and moving to the city, her guardian Sagara Yukimasa recommends her to enter a high school in Tokyo and forces his son Miyuki to serve Izumiko for life. Miyuki and Izumiko repel each other but their relationship begins to change when a terrifying accident occurs on the school excursion. Izumiko learns her fate as the last representative (yorishiro) of a Himegami goddess and Miyuki learns of his duty as a guardian Yamabushi of Izumiko.

This sounds alright, but looks as though it'll be webcast on Nico Nico Douga this season, and presumably air on TV in the summer if its anything like the recent AIC webstreams. I might wait until then before giving it a go.

[EDIT] Seems like it is getting a TV airing this season after all, though it's two weeks behind the webstream. I which case, I'll be picking it up now after all.

    Date A Live

    Animation Studio: AIC Plus+
    Japanese Airdate: Mar 30, 2013
Seiyuu: Shimazaki Nobunaga, Togashi Misuzu, Inoue Marina

    (Original post by Summary:)
Thirty years before a strange phenomena called a "spacequake" devastated the center of Eurasia, claiming the lives of at least 150 million people. Since then, smaller spacequakes plague the world on a irregular basis. Shidō Itsuka, a seemingly ordinary high schooler comes across a mysterious girl at the ground zero of a spacequake and learns from his sister Kotori she is one of the "Spirits" who are the real cause of the spacequakes that occur when they manifest themselves in the world. He also learns that Kotori is the captain of the airship Ratatoskr and recruits him to make use of his mysterious ability to seal the Spirits' powers and stop them from being a threat to mankind. However, there is a catch: to seal a Spirit, he must make her fall in love with him.

“Generic ecchi battle anime. Not bad character designs, but the actual animation in this trailer seemed to be lacking. Can't say I'm overly enthusiastic.”... is what I had to say about it in the last thread, and my thoughts haven't changed since then. Hope it actually airs this time!

    Karneval

    Website: http://karneval-anime.com/
    Animation Studio: Manglobe
    Japanese Airdate: April 3, 2013
Seiyuu: Shimono Hiro, Kamiya Hiroshi, Endou Aya
Director: Suganuma Eiji (Kodomo no Jikan, Mashiroiro Symphony: The Color of Lovers)
    PV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O7LxjCdr4PY

    (Original post by Summary:)
Nai searches for someone important to him, with only an abandoned bracelet as a clue. Gareki steals and pick-pockets to get by from day to day. The two meet in a strange mansion where they are set-up, and soon become wanted criminals by military security operatives. When Nai and Gareki find themselves desperate in a hopeless predicament, they encounter none other than the country's most powerful defense organization—"Circus"!!

It's shoujo and seems to be full of bishonen, but it's also an action/mystery series, so this could go either way for me. Worth trying at the very least.

    Ginga Kikoutai: Majestic Prince

    Website: http://mjp-anime.jp/
    Animation Studio: Dogakobo
    Japanese Airdate: April 4, 2013
Seiyuu: Asanuma Shintaro, Iguchi Yuka, Hikasa Yoko
Director: Motonaga Keitarou (Katanagatari, Tayutama: Kiss on My Deity)
    PV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlZRHDbYYko

    (Original post by Summary:)
In the latter half of 21st century, humans leave the Earth and begin to live in space. In order to adapt to the environment in space and deal with the hostile aliens in Jupiter, genetically engineered children called "Princes" are artificially raised and trained to be pilots of armed robots "AHSMB (Advanced High Standard Multipurpose Battle Device). This is a story about one of the teenage "Princes", Hitachi O Izuru, who studies in an academic city Grandzehle.

What is it with anime and Jupiter? Anyway, this could be good! The trailer suggests that it isn't going to be completely serious, but featured a few interesting space fight scenes and bright coloured explosions... I'm in!

Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru.

    Website: http://www.tbs.co.jp/anime/oregairu/
    Animation Studio: Brain's Base
    Japanese Airdate: April 4, 2013
Seiyuu: Eguchi Takuya, Touyama Nao, Hayami Saori
    Director: Yoshimura Ai
    PV:

    (Original post by Summary:)
This romantic comedy revolves around an antisocial high school student named Hikigaya Hachiman with a distorted view on life and no friends or girlfriend. When he see his classmates talking excitedly about living their adolescent lives, he mutters, They're a bunch of liars. When he is asked about his future dreams, he responds, Not working. A teacher gets Hachiman to join the volunteer service club, which happens to have the school's prettiest girl, Yukinoshita Yukino.

Another romantic comedy featuring weird and/or antisocial characters... initial impressions are that this looks and sounds generic, but I'm fine with that as long as it makes me laugh.

Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai 2

    Website: http://www.oreimo-anime.com/
    Animation Studio: A-1 Pictures
    Japanese Airdate: April 6, 2013
Seiyuu: Hanazawa Kana, Nakamura Yuuichi, Taketatsu Ayana
    Director: Kanbe Hiroyuki (Viper's Creed)
    PV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RnpOaYF63M

    (Original post by Summary:)
    Second season of OreImo.

Kyousuke Kousaka, a normal seventeen-year-old high school student, hasn't gotten along with his younger sister, Kirino, in years. For longer than he can remember, Kirino has ignored his comings and goings and looked at him with spurning eyes. It seemed as if the relationship between Kyousuke and his sister, now fourteen, would continue this way forever.

One day, however, Kyousuke finds a DVD case of a magical girl anime entitled Hoshikuzu Witch Merle (Stardust Witch Merle), which had fallen into the entranceway of his house. To Kyousuke's surprise, inside the case is a hidden adult video game titled Imouto to Koishiyo! (Love with Little Sister!). Kyousuke attempts to fish out the culprit who dropped the case by bringing up the topic of magical girl anime at the family dinner table. All that comes out is a strong negative reaction from his parents, especially his anti-otaku policeman father.

That night, Kirino bursts into Kyousuke's room and, in perhaps the first conversation she has initiated with him in years, says they "have things to talk about." Kirino brings Kyousuke to her room and shows him an extensive collection of moe anime and lolicon bishoujo games she has been collecting in secret.

Again, I've not watched the first series... but unlike all the others so far, I may actually try and marathon it so that I can pick this up as it airs, as I've heard it's a fun show.

    Haiyore! Nyaruko-san W

    Website: http://nyaruko.com/
    Animation Studio: XEBEC
    Japanese Airdate: April 7, 2013
Seiyuu: Asumi Kana, Kugimiya Rie, Kitamura Eri
Director: Nagasawa Tsuyoshi (MM!, Kyo no Go no ni)
    PV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlgR0PTmec8

    (Original post by Summary:)
    Second season of Haiyore! Nyaruko-san.

"I'm Nyarlathotep, the creeping chaos always smiling beside you." But you can call her Nyaruko for short. One by one, the Great Ones from the Cthulhu mythos are coming to earth to target Nyaruko and her human friend Mahiro. He's utterly clueless about the true nature of his cosmic conflict and just wants to live in peace.

Here's one I marathoned earlier! I finished the first series a few days ago, and thought it was alright, though I've seen similar shows that were better. Whether or not I pick this up will depend on the quality of the season's other rom-coms.

    Arata Kangatari

    Website: http://arata-anime.com/
    Animation Studio: Satelight
    Japanese Airdate: April 8, 2013
Seiyuu: Takagaki Ayahi, Ono Yuuki, Okamoto Nobuhiko
Director: Yasuda Kenji (Ikoku Meiro no Croisée, Shugo Chara!)
    PV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08b6iiTiQmg

    (Original post by Summary:)
Every 30 years, a new princess is chosen from the Hime family to serve the Hayagami. The time has come again, but over these past years, records state not a single female has been born, save for one, the 15-year-old Arata. The only problem is, Arata is actually a male! Forced to disguise himself and take the place of the princess candidate until a formal one can be found, he attends the festival only to witness the current princess, Kokuri-hime, murdered, and his own life is forfeit as well, by the hands of the princess' personal guard, the 12 Shinshou. As he runs for his life, Kannagi of the 12 convinces everyone that Arata is the one who has murdered the princess instead, and now everyone in the Imperial Court is after his head!

Action, fantasy, crossdressing (if only briefly judging by the synopsis :p:), probably worth a shot. Also worth noting that Ootani Kou is doing the soundtrack, and I've picked up plenty of anime for worse reasons than that before.

    Mushibugyou

    Website: http://www.mushibugyo.jp/
    Animation Studio: Seven Arcs Pictures
    Japanese Airdate: April 8, 2013
Seiyuu: Terashima Takuma, Ookubo Rumi, Fukuyama Jun
Director: Hamana Takayuki (Sisters of Wellber, Moshidora)
    PV: See website

    (Original post by Summary:)
The action story is set in Edo-era Tokyo in the early 1700s. The eighth shogun Tokugawa Yoshimune ordered boxes to be installed so commoners can submit their thoughts. After hearing their voices, the shogun creates a new magistrate unit—Mushibugyou—to protect the people in the heart of the city. Each member is a specialist with unique fighting skills.

So we know it's an action series set in the Edo period... but who will this 'Mushibugyou' be fighting against? Guess we'll have to wait and see. Nothing wrong with a good action series, so long as it's well animated.

    Photo Kano

    Website: http://www.tbs.co.jp/anime/photokano/
    Animation Studio: MADHOUSE
    Japanese Airdate: April 4, 2013
Seiyuu: Sawashiro Miyuki, Nakahara Mai, Shimazaki Nobunaga
Director: Yokoyama Akitoshi (Marimo no Hana: Saikyou Butouha Shougakusei Densetsu)
    PV:

    (Original post by Summary:)
The story revolves around the male protagonist who just got a DSLR camera from his dad and start to develop photography as his new hobby.

Sounds thrilling. :indiff: Apparently this is a harem show based on a visual novel/date sim, and so I see nothing that makes it stand out from other such adaptations.

    Devil Survivor 2 The Animation

    Website: http://ds2a.jp/
    Animation Studio: Bridge
    Japanese Airdate: April 2013
Seiyuu: Uchida Aya, Kamiya Hiroshi, Okamoto Nobuhiko
Director: Kishi, Seiji (Angel Beats!, Persona 4 The Animation)
    PV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qojFloViuWY

    (Original post by Summary:)
Mysterious invaders called the Septentriones arrive in Japan and begin attacking the country on a Sunday. To fight back, the heroes in Devil Survivor 2 signed a pact with the devil to become the Thirteen Devil Messengers. The Septentriones show up at least once a day and you have a time limit of seven days to defeat them.

This isn't a sequel to an existing anime or anything, just the anime adaptation of the second game in the Devil Survivor series. Which is a spinoff of the Megami Tensei series. Which is related to the Persona series. Confused? So am I, but since I liked the Persona 4 anime and this looks similar (same director too) I'll give it a chance.

    Yuyushiki

    Website: http://www.yuyushiki.net/
    Animation Studio: Kinema Citrus
    Japanese Airdate: April 2013
Seiyuu: Taneda Risa, Tsuda Minami, Ookubo Rumi
    Director: Kaori
    PV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6F-yLYldO8k

    (Original post by Summary:)
The manga follows the school life of three girls in the data processing club—Yuzuko, Yukari, and Yui.

Data processing? :wtf: I guess they're running out of clubs to base series around. :p: Interestingly, the director seems to be a former seiyuu who worked exclusively in hentai OVAs. :hmmmm2: I'm not expecting much from this.

    Attack on Titan

    Website: http://www.shingeki.tv/
    Animation Studio: Wit Studio
    Japanese Airdate: April 2013
Seiyuu: Ishikawa Yui, Inoue Marina, Kaji Yuki
Director: Tetsurou Araki (Death Note, Highschool of the Dead)
    PV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znvVz-V-4Oc

    (Original post by Summary:)
Several hundred years ago, humans were nearly exterminated by giants. Giants are typically several stories tall, seem to have no intelligence, devour human beings and, worst of all, seem to do it for the pleasure rather than as a food source. A small percentage of humanity survived by walling themselves in a city protected by extremely high walls, even taller than the biggest of giants.

Flash forward to the present and the city has not seen a giant in over 100 years. Teenage boy Elen and his foster sister Mikasa witness something horrific as the city walls are destroyed by a super giant that appears out of thin air. As the smaller giants flood the city, the two kids watch in horror as their mother is eaten alive. Elen vows that he will murder every single giant and take revenge for all of mankind.

The first series in this long lineup that really has me excited, I can say with almost 100% certainty that I'll pick this up, if only to see what all the fuss is about. Watching puny humans fighting super giants sounds like fun to me!

    Hataraku Maou-sama!

    Website: http://maousama.jp/
    Animation Studio: White Fox
    Japanese Airdate: April 4, 2013
Seiyuu: Ohsaka Ryota, Hikasa Yoko, Ono Yuuki
Director: Hosoda Naoto (Mirai Nikki, Shuffle!)
    PV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6SGUN-2FwG8

    (Original post by Summary:)
Devil King Sadao is only one step away from conquering the world when he is beaten by Hero Emilia and forced to drift to the other world: modern-day Tokyo. As "conquering the world" are the only skills the Devil King possesses—and are obviously unnecessary in his new situation—he must work as a freeter to pay for his living expenses!

I didn't really get along with the last series to feature characters called 'Maou' and 'Yuusha', and I'm currently unemployed, but I'll try not to let those things cloud my judgement too much when I watch the first episode. :p:

    Kakumeiki Valvrave

    Website: http://www.valvrave.com/
    Animation Studio: Sunrise
    Japanese Airdate: April 2013
Seiyuu: Kimura Ryouhei, Tomatsu Haruka, Seto Asami
Director: Matsuo Kou (Rozen Maiden, Kure-nai)
    PV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5m1cgKo78aQ

    (Original post by Summary:)
New original mecha anime from Sunrise.

Not much info out there about this one, so all I can say is that, as a fan of mecha/sci-fi, I will give this a go.

    Hayate no Gotoku! Cuties

    Website: http://www.hayate-project.com/
    Animation Studio: Manglobe
    Japanese Airdate: April 9, 2013
Seiyuu: Kugimiya Rie, Shiraishi Ryoko, Tanaka Rie
Director: Kudo Masashi (Hayate the Combat Butler: Can't Take My Eyes Off You)
    PV:

    (Original post by Summary:)
Fourth season of Hayate no Gotoku!

Rather than a continuation of the previously animated Hayate no Gotoku seasons, this series will be independent and written by the author, Kenjiro Hata, himself.

Cuties? :lolwut: The names for the new Hayate anime adaptations get weirder every time! Anyway, I didn't particularly like the first series, and skipped the first of the remakes, so obviously won't bother with this.

    Suisei no Gargantia

    Website: http://gargantia.jp/
    Animation Studio: Production I.G.
    Japanese Airdate: April 2013
Seiyuu: Asumi Kana, Ishikawa Kaito, Kanemoto Hisako
Director: Murata Kazuya (Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos, Makeruna! Makendo)
    PV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGZokL-tAbM

    (Original post by Summary:)
The story begins in the distant future in the far reaches of the galaxy. The Human Galactic Alliance has been constantly fighting for its survival against a grotesque race of beings called "Hidiaazu." During an intense battle, the young lieutenant Redo and his humanoid mobile weapon Chamber are swallowed up into a distortion of time and space. Waking from his artificially induced hibernation, Redo realizes that he has arrived on Earth, the planet on the lost frontier. On this planet that was completely flooded by the seas, people live in fleets of giant ships, salvaging relics from the seas' depths in order to survive. Redo arrives on one of the fleets called Gargantia. With no knowledge of the planet's history or culture, he is forced to live alongside Amy, a 15-year-old girl who serves as a messenger aboard the Gargantia fleet. To Redo, who has lived a life where he knows nothing but fighting, these days of peace continue to surprise him.

The last series I watched where a former soldier woke up in a land of peace was Shining Bread... This show promises to be better than that (not that it could be any worse!) with Urobuchi Gen working on the scripts, so hopefully the Earth won't be at peace for too long. :p:

    Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko

    Website: http://www.henneko.jp/
    Animation Studio: J.C. Staff
    Japanese Airdate: April 13, 2013
Seiyuu: Ogura Yui, Kaji Yuki, Tamura Yukari
    Director: Suzuki Youhei
    PV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkn4FlEVvYA

    (Original post by Summary:)
Youto Yokodera is always thinking about his carnal desires, but no one acknowledges him as a pervert. He learns about a cat statue that supposedly grants wishes. The boy goes to pray that he will be able to express his lustful thoughts whenever and wherever he wants. At the statue, Youto encounters Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi, a girl from his high school with her own wish — that she would not display her real intentions so readily.

So this series focuses on a guy who WANTS to be recognised as a pervert? :lolwut: The synopsis doesn't interest me, especially in a season where Aku no Hana will be providing a more unique spin on the usual perverted highschool hijinks.

    Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Bride

    Website: http://www.hyakka-ryoran.tv/
    Animation Studio: ARMS
    Japanese Airdate: April 2013
Seiyuu: Kugimiya Rie, Hirakawa Daisuke, Yuuki Aoi
Director: KOBUN (Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls)
    PV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4U_WMvRVsQ

    (Original post by Summary:)
Second season of Hyakka Ryoran: Samurai Girls.

The story takes place in Japan in the early 21st century, in an alternate reality where the Tokugawa Shogunate has remained in power. In this reality, student councils are tasked with oppressing schools. Yagyuu Muneakira is a high school student who rebels against his student council with the help of girls who've had the names of famous samurai heroes passed on to them.

The only things I really remember about the first series are the stylish animation, ink blot censorship, and loli Sanada Yukimura. :mmm: I've not watched anything overly ecchi since Queen's Blade Rebellion last Spring though, so I'll likely pick this up. :p:

    Toaru Kagaku no Railgun S

    Website: http://www.project-railgun.net/
    Animation Studio: J.C. Staff
    Japanese Airdate: April 13, 2013
Seiyuu: Satou Rina, Itou Kanae, Arai Satomi
Director: Nagai Tatsuyuki (Toradora!, Ano Natsu de Matteru)
    PV:

    (Original post by Summary:)
The second season will focus on The Sisters Arc. Lasting only a single volume in the Toaru Majutsu no Index light novels, it was later expanded greatly in the Toaru Kagaku no Railgun manga.

The arc focuses on the ordeals of Mikoto Misaka after discovering the existence of the Radio Noise sisters that are being used in the Level 6 Shift, an experiment where they are killed in order for the highest-ranking Level 5, Accelerator, can achieve Level 6.

I know a lot of people who will be looking forward to this, but personally I've always found the 'To Aru' franchise a bit overrated. Railgun was better than Index at least, but (epic animation aside) it still felt average. I may give this another chance if the other new action shows disappoint, though.

    Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge

    Website: http://crimeedge.com/
    Animation Studio: Studio Gokumi
    Japanese Airdate: April 4, 2013
Seiyuu: Hanae Natsuki, Koiwai Kotori, Uchiyama Yumi
Director: Yamaguchi Yuuji (Fate/stay night, Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito)
    PV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BW29irdviWE

    (Original post by Summary:)
Haimura Kiri is a seemingly ordinary boy with one slight problem: he is obsessed with cutting other people's hair. One day he meets Mushiyanokouji Iwai, the "Hair Queen" who cannot cut her hair because of an inherited curse. Kiri finds out that his scissor, "Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge" is the only thing that can cut them. But little did he know that their meeting sparked the start of an old murder game to kill the "Hair Queen" using the cursed killing tools, the "Killing Goods." Can Kiri protect Iwai from the Killing Goods Owners? Let the game begin!

I take back all my ':lolwut:'s and ':wtf:'s about earlier shows, as nothing can compete with a synopsis like this! My thoughts are more or less the same as for last season's hair fetish anime, Cuticle Tantei Inaba: it will either be awesome, or awful!

Kasuga Takao is a boy who loves reading books, particularly Baudelaire's Les Fleurs du Mal. A girl at his school, Saeki Nanako, is his muse and his Venus, and he admires her from a distance. One day, he forgets his copy of Les Fleurs du Mal in the classroom and runs back alone to pick it up. In the classroom, he finds not only his book, but Saeki's gym uniform. On a mad impulse, he steals it.

Now everyone knows 'some pervert' stole Saeki's uniform, and Kasuga is dying with shame and guilt. Furthermore, the weird, creepy, and friendless girl of the class, Nakamura, saw him take the uniform. Instead of revealing it was him, she recognizes his kindred deviant spirit and uses her knowledge to take control of his life. Will it be possible for Kasuga to get closer to Saeki, despite Nakamura's meddling and his dark secret? What exactly does Nakamura intend to do with him?

One of the best manga series I'm currently reading... and right now, also the anime I'm most looking forward to. TBH I'd have preferred to see it get picked up by a studio that can actually animate, but at least the Director of DMC should be experienced at making good shows on a low budget!

    Pretty Rhythm: Rainbow Live

Naru Ayase is an 8th grader who can see the colors of music when she listens to it. For Naru, who is extremely good at decorating, becoming the owner of a shop like Dear Crown was her dream. One day, she finds out that the manager of a newly-opened shop is recruiting middle school girls who can do Prism Dance, and immediately applies. Naru begins to Prism Dance at the audition, and an aura she's never experienced spreads out in front of her. At that moment, a mysterious girl named Rinne asks her if she can see "rainbow music".

Third series in a franchise I know nothing about, but this time I have no plans to marathon the earlier series in advance.

Mukoujima Takurou is a lonely teenager who spends his time fishing at the pier and, to his incredible surprise, fishes up Muromi, a mermaid. Muromi first off doesn't realize she's a mermaid until she meets Takurou. Not only that, she is incredibly dense and crazy and has a drinking problem to top it off. Now every time Takurou goes fishing, Muromi appears and makes life interesting for him.

A slice of life comedy featuring a drunken mermaid could be fun! It's airing very early, too! As a fellow creature of the deep I'll definitely watch this.

The story centers around Amaya, Iwasawa, and Uehara—three "annoying, spirited high school girls with zero motivation"—and their classmates. Their daily life is "what happens when there is nothing happening."

When even the synopsis describes the characters as annoying, you know you're onto a winner. That data processing club anime whose name I've already forgotten suddenly seems a lot more appealing.

Gonzo will produce the TV anime adaptation of developer GREE’s upcoming mobile device role-playing game Zettai Boei Leviathan (Absolute Defense Leviathan). The game is set in a magical fantasy land where three dragon-girls band together to defend their world from threatening monsters spawned from meteorites.

This came out of nowhere, only being announced about a week ago... good to see GONZO are still alive! As for the show itself... it shouldn't appeal to me as much as it does. It'll probably be awful. But still, I have a fatal weakness for generic fantasy... and dragon girls. :o:

    Continuation of the first season.

Kurotori Chiyoko, a 5th-grader in elementary school, loves the occult. One day, a friend requests her to do a love fortune-telling. Chiyoko tries to summon Cupid, but thanks to a stuffy nose, accidentally summons a witch named Gyubid instead!

From that day on, Chiyoko starts learning witchcraft from Gyubid, the self-proclaimed hottest instructor of the magic world. The training regimen is tough, and punishment for slacking is harsh. Fortunately, Chiyoko is able to keep her extra-curricular studies secret, aided by the fact that no one else can see Gyubid.

Didn't watch the first series, so won't be bothering with this.

    2nd season of Gakkatsu!.

In a fictional school, "Tender Tank" Rareko is constantly opening absurd yet strangely enthusiastic debates, this way creating a lively classroom life. Bringing up tremendous themes, she and her classmates exchange words like sword-strokes, and here and there even a profound remark is slipped in.

A fun and informative debate comedy, packed into only five minutes each time.

I've read one or two positive reviews of the first series... but it's still a still a 5 minute flash anime, so I'll probably give it a miss.

Akutabe is a detective who summons devils to solve the troubles of his clients. One day, a low class devil Azazel Atsushi is summoned by Akutabe and is used harshly by him and his assistant Rinko.

I remember watching one or two episodes of this way back (for Aberanime purposes if I remember rightly), and liking what I saw, but I never resumed it. One of the better short episode length series though, if you don't mind a bit of violence and profanity. :p:

Picking up Shingeki no Kyoujin (Attack on Titan) without a doubt. As a reader, I've been looking forward to the anime since it was announced. Kinda glad it'll get the recognition it deserves, but my inner hipster also dreads the anime only fandom; though I should be used to it by now.

    Otherwise, I'm also interested in:

    Aiura
    Suisei no Gargantia
    Nyaruko
    Oreimo
    Photo Kano

I still need to catch up on Railgun, so that'll be thrown in the backlog.

Still, my hype for SnK is unreal.

This season looks OK, but I personally prefer the last season.

The first ep of UtaPri 2000% was ridiculously fabulous. Definitely picking it up.

Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge was intriguing... haven't a clue what's going to happen next, but I'm guessing it'll be violent.

Not sure what to make of Ginga Kikoutai: Majestic Prince; it was alright, but I've seen better. I'll watch a few more shows before deciding on this one.

Devil Survivor 2 was by far the best of the four eps I've sampled so far, plenty of action.

Red Data Girl looks like it has a lot of potential, as well as looking far prettier than any of the above mentioned series. :p: Will pick that up too.

The animation style in Aku no Hana! :zomg:

    ...

    :zomg:

    ...

...not what I was expecting. Not as 'pretty' as the manga. But, that could make the creepy, perverted scenes a whole lot more creepy and perverted. :p: Won't put me off, though I can imagine some people might not be as impressed.

    Spoiler:
    Show

Unsurprisingly, I'll be picking up series two of Hyakka Ryouran. :giggle:

Zettai Boei Leviathan was cute... but I got major Shining Hearts vibes from it (this episode even featured bread :afraid:). Not sure I can justify picking up a series purely because of the character designs, at least not this early in the season. :p:

...and Namiuchigiwa no Muromi-san is a short, so I won't be picking that up either.

Most have started already. I put the (Japanese) air dates in the info for most series, though as I made this thread several weeks ago, there's a few that didn't have exact start dates at the time, while other dates turned out to be plain wrong. :p:

mahou Showtime! has a pretty useful chart which lists series that have recently started/are due to start soon, that may be of more use to you.

Shingeki no Kyojin got off to a very good start! Looking forward to the next ep!

Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru was a bit generic, reminded me of Haganai but with less interesting characters. Dropped~

Hataraku Maou-sama! was much more hilarious than I expected, easily the best first episode of the season so far (in my opinion)!

    Plenty going on in
Karneval, I'm intrigued enough to keep it on.

It's a weekend, there are twenty four hours in a day, and I only have to sleep for 6-8 of them. Plenty of time to watch four new first eps, the latest Hunter x Hunter, the finale of Little Busters!, and some Galactic Cyclone Bryger so that I don't end up just watching new stuff. :p:

It became clear very quickly after starting OreImo 2 that I had no idea what was going on anymore... I'm guessing those DVD specials are required viewing? :hmmmm2: I'll put it on hold for now, but I'll definitely go back to it.

No such problems with Haiyore! Nyaruko-san W, the first episode was more of the same, which is fine by me!

I found the first half of ep 1 of Suisei no Gargantia a bit dull, but once the setting changed it was quite entertaining. :giggle: I'll give it a chance.

Arata Kangatari did indeed have a nice soundtrack, but that was about the only thing that impressed me. Dropped.

Date A Live was more fun than I expected, so I'll be keeping it on as a guilty pleasure. :p:
