It was Al Qaeda that did the spain bomb, it said on the news that all the evidence so far points to Al Qaeda and the intelligence service are 90% certain it was an Al Qaeda attack! NOT ETA. Eta denies they were responsible for the atrocity. Al Qaeda hasn't come forward though and claimed responsiblilty but they haven't denied it either and asylum seekers are supporting the attacks and saying they were justified!

And Al Qaeda HAS claimed responsibility and Osama Bin Laden even recorded a message. Eta said it was nothing to do with them. They can say this now because the election has happened and the previous president didn't want to get the blame because he sent troops to Iraq

To be honest, if you are a terrorist group you aren't just gonna come out and say "it was us" unless you gain someting from it. Al Qeda could jut be trying to steal Eta's thunder as it were. That sunds really harsh i know, but to terrorists its all about the show and how much disruption they can casue which gives them the fame and notoriety.

No because Al qaeda claimed responsibility but the Spanish government tried to keep it under wraps

Ok Spain put troops in Iraq.
the people of spain weren't too happy,
if Al Qaeda attacked it would be to do with them joining us and the US,
    Spain gets attacked,
blame it on Eta so the election doesn't go tits up for the president,
it's revealed that it was Al Qaeda (there's been video etc).
    Oh look the Socialists win

No you are wrong because terrorist groups like to let people know if theyt are responsible. That is the whole point of commiting such an atrocity in the first place, to bring attention to their particular 'cause'.

it was slightly obvious that Eta didn't do it because they've only managed to kill about 11 people at once, not 200+. That's the way they do it, they don't want to create mass devistation.

    I see.

But that doesn't change the fact that Al Qaeda are respnsible which is the whole contention of my post...

It isn't a matter of being clever! Its only english words that have a 'u' following a 'q'. Its just a translation.

What's that got to do with asylum seekers ? Based on what ur saying that they r supporting the attacks? Why even bring asylum seekers into this?
To be honest i think ur the same person who made a stupid thread about asylum seekers raping under age kidz and etc yesterday...

Also this is on national news anyways....So there isn't no need for u to come here with that Nick name "Filthy Arab" and act like an idiot here.

They are quite strong assumptions aren't they?! Bin Laden wasn't a fan of Iraq because he called the leadership of Hussein 'immoral'.

I thought it was al quida or something anyway. How many spellings of it are there? I dont care anyway I have no intention of ever speaking to an afghanistani terrorist in afghanistan language or whatever in my life anyway. So I dont want to know afghanistan muslim language.

it wanst strictly al qaeda, apparantly it would have been the "islamic miltant brigade" (something like that i cant remember the proper name) Al-Qaeda is an umbrella organisation, lots of smaller islamic terrorist groups have allied with it.

You believe the news, its all propaganda we don't know whats going on between closed doors, did you know that the CIA built Al-Qaeda when they went into afghanistan. Al-QAEDA means book in arabic not terrorists.

At first I thought it may be a plot to make it look like Al Qaeda was behind the bombings, with fairly weak, steriotypical evidence of a muslim plot (the koran recordings, the suposed converts as bombers), but now it looks more likely that it realy is a AQ attack. It just seems a bit sloppy for them.
