I was wondering if in the expressive unit for higher art, if digital art is acceptable? It's my favourite medium and the one I feel i'm best at, however I know it's only recently emerging but i have no clue about the sqa's opinion on it. I have other more traditional pieces that would go along beside it, so it wouldn't be purely digital (by digital i mean digital painting, as in done with a tablet on a blank digital canvas; no filters etc just straight painting) I don't want to risk putting this on my unit if it'll jepordise my grade. I presume the main problems would be the fact that it could easily not be my own work, but I could possibly put work in progress images alongside it as evidence?
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
