I'm definitely interested in finding out the same thing! As of yet I was looking online at flat share & easy roommate's website to see if i could rent a room, thought it might be the more affordable option since I don't have family in the U.K. If anyone knows of any better websites or affordable options Id love to hear them!

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-to-rent.html is a good one. There are loads of offers (flats, flatshares, rooms etc.) and you can set the price range.

Or gumtree or craigslist but you have to filter out the scams - gumtree is supposed to have fewer of those

Hello Boys and girls

So a thread like this one looks nice and its similar to last year's.

It looks like a great idea to share this information and give each other some idea about timeline and chances.

Everybody can (should) post what they have and then just go back and adjust as new information comes to light. Come on, let's help each other a bit!

First, a few words about yourself

Then the following info for every uni you applied:

University:
Course:
Date Application sent:
Date Decision received:
Decision: unconditional/conditional/unsuccessful
Offer conditions:
Your reaction:

Starting with me:

University: Lancaster University
Course: Msc energy and environment

University: Lancaster University (like you! )
Course: MA Creative Writing
Date Application sent: 6th January
Date Decision received: 24th January
