I'm in the process of firming my offer from Leeds and it's got me thinking about the accommodation. I've been torn between the new student village and the Charles Morris hall. I don't want the trouble of cooking for myself all the time if possible (although the student village sounds great as it's so central) but on the other hand I've heard from some sources that the Refectory food is horrible/unvaried/the money doesn't roll over?

Can anyone give me a comparison of the student village and the Charles Morris hall having experienced living in one or even both? Is the Refectory food really that bad?

I'm guessing that you're talking about Central Village? There's a lot of information here that might help, but it's hard for people to say much about Central Village as not many people have lived there as of yet.
