Slightly underwhelmed by the end of what I thought was an excellent series, last week's episode was the best one for me, as it was intense, this week's wasn't that intense really. Well done for the people who guessed it was going to be a case of mistaken identity, but I was bit disappointed at him just giving himself in just like that early on in the episode, would have prefered there to have been some intense interrogation or something that squeezed the truth out of him, rather than him just giving himself in which is a bit of a boring end to me. The end was moving of course, though cheesy, predictable and a bit drawn out I thought, I liked how we got to see all the reactions which you don't always get in these crime dramas (usually waking the dead just abruptly finished as soon as they uncovered the truth), but it was a bit much imo.
Few things and characters that confused me and various stuff that seemed relevant ended up being irrelevant. Though if Broadchuch will return, won't be under a different name, as obviously that's the name of the town, or will they be setting another murder there and Broadchurch becomes the new Midsomer?
And yeah ^ I thought the prison confrontation scene was a bit unlikely really
Anyone watch Broadchurch? watch
