    Hi all

I'm a recent school leaver with 300 UCAS points from 2 A2s and 2 AS Levels. I have two choices for my future career and would like to make a decision soon as I hate not knowing what my future holds.

Option 1: stay with my family business, if it does well (it's a private school that has lasted 25 years and only got into debt once or twice) and I could be earning around 40-45k at the peak of my earnings.

Option 2: follow the ACCA distance learning route (combined with BSc) and follow an accountancy role after 4/5 years of qualifying or maybe a few more. Does anyone have any experience of this course they can share? Is it as likely to get me into a high finance role compared with ACA?

    All thoughts are appreciated.

    Thanks.

If you won £30,000, which of these would you spend it on?
