    I am on a temporary contract, it was meant to last 3 months but has been extended. it is a high pressure job and alot of people get fired. now say it happens to me and i get fired. is it the same as getting fired from a permanent? and will it tarnish my employment opportunities?

    It depends on the job. Sometimes it wont be put into the system as a firing, but that your contract has ended. But it varies from job to job. Maybe look into why people are getting fired and it could give you a better idea?
