5-8x / (2+x)(1-3x) , wasn't it?

If you agree that it was that then you can thrash it out right now

I get B = +1

Your calculator knows the answers?! Wow which genie gave you that

Amazon, before you get cocky. To be specific- this exact model - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Casio-FX-991ESPLUS-SA-UH-FX-991ESPLUS-Scientific-Calculator/dp/B0034BAQS8/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1370870952&sr=8-6&keywords=calculator

Which can integrate hence you can check your answer.

Okay, for everyone that's concerned about the 11/3 ln2 thing, hopefully this will solve your dispute

I put the original equation in mine, and came out with 11/3ln2 too, so i guess we got our calculators off the same genie.

the paper was really hard but i think that a lot of people seem to have got the right answer to a lot of the questions.
I reckon between 60 and 63 for the A*

good luck

and to make you guys feel better... this was harder than FP2.

My calculator 'knows the answers' too. Isn't that their sole purpose?

I can't believe not everyone has the 991-ES plus, it's super handy for being able to check answers like that! The summations funtion means you can check cumulative probability distribution answers for stats too - life saver for silly mistakes!

Mate you're full of **** xD

Im being honest. Only a small percentage of the sample taking C4 are on TSR.
Just because the majority here thought it was hard, does NOT mean the rest did.

I am just saying that you should be prepared for when im right, and the boundary for an A is 64
