Falkanders vote overwhelmingly to stay British watch


    To describe Britain's control of the Falklands as 'imperial' is just an insult to nations that were actually brutal victims of imperialism in the past.

    British people settled on the Falklands before Argentina even existed as a state. Argentina's claim is totally pissweak and is used by its government to distract the attention of the people away from the country's terrible economic woes. The stance of the Argentine government is to simply regard the Falklanders as 'British colonial implants' and ignore them... maybe by this logic we should refuse to deal with Buenos Aires and instead only deal with Madrid
