So the other day I was offered an unpaid internship at the House of Commons, which would require me moving out to London for 6 months. Unfortunately, accommodation in Central London is already way too expensive and I have no idea how I'm going to finance this internship in terms of accommodation etc...

Any suggestions? Does anyone know of any UK agencies which might offer student loans for internships?

Maybe work part time to fund accommodation and other living costs.
Maybe stay with family/friends for the duration of the Internship
Accommodation in central London zone 1 is expensive the further away the cheaper.
I suppose they do pay for expenses such as travel and lunch.

If you won £30,000, which of these would you spend it on?
