    Can any one help me with a few maths
    a reactor increases in temperature at a rate given by the equation below up to a maximum of 300C . Y=e5t + e-2t

    A) construct a graph to show this increase at 100ms intervals from 2c
    b) show by differentiation the gradient of the curve at 1) t=400ms and 2) t=550ms

     y = e^5^t + e^-^2^t

    A) I think it wants you to plot a point every 100ms which is every 0.1s, So put t=0.1, t=0.2, .... adding every value of y to 2. so plotting:  (0.1, y+2), (0.2, y + 2), ...

    B) Do you know how to differentiate  \frac{d}{dx}e^a^x ? just do what the question says remember that t is in seconds not ms
