Falklands referendum: Voters choose to remain UK territory
Stick that in your pipe and smoke it, Argentina.

Or would "Don't Cry for Me, Argentina" be more appropriate?

The citizens of the Falklands have made their choice and Argentina should accept it for once and for all instead of making claims over their so called 'Malvinas Islands'. I firmly believe in the right to self-determination and states across the world should accept Wilson's doctrine

The result is hardly a surprise.

But I don't see what difference it will make. Argentina has already clearly stated they don't care what the islanders think. To them it's irrelevant what the people want because they believe they have no right to be there in the first place. They're wrong of course, but I don't see how this will convince them of that.
If you won £30,000, which of these would you spend it on?
