Deadlines are common for all boards for A level. Centres have to make the entries with the exam board by 21 March so are likely to set earlier internal deadlines (e.g. 15 March) so they have time to process everything.

Do you mean internal as in within the school? My deadline was today for my school; I didn't even realise and now I'm sat here worried that if I go in tomorrow to school and ask to be entered into some Psychology papers, that I'll be refused. Or is the official date the 21st of March, and my school is putting it today just to be on the safe side?
If I do get refused, can I still put myself in as a late entry and pay the fee for that?

It is possible to enter for an exam right up to the day of the exam, you just have to pay more to do it. The normal price entry deadline with the board is 21 March but your school may charge extra for your being after their deadline - if everyone paid late then there is no way they could meet the exam boards' deadline.
