I was hoping I could get some advice from former head boys as I am currently in the process of applying at my school. Does it take up a lot of your time or is it not too bad? How good does it look when applying to university? Could you please just describe your general experience.

(I know this all sounds quite arrogant, sorry if it comes off that way, I do mean it all hypothetically)

Well you can apply the qualities to particular situations- like leadership skills and I can't think of any more lol
But you get what I'm saying right?

Being head boy is an excellent way to bolster your CV- especially if you've not got a lot of work experience.

With regard to uni, it's more about what you learned as head boy, what skills did you develop, as opposed to physically being head boy setting you apart.
