    Are the specs of my current PC (listed below) good enough to play any modern games?

    Depends on the games, the i5 is fine, graphics is the issue, have a look at the bottom of this page for benchmarks http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-...M.22437.0.html

    Yeah the graphics card will be your major limiting factor here. The i5, RAM, etc should hold up OK.

    It'll probably play most current (2012/13) games passably on low settings, if you don't mind just "passable" framerates (30+ fps)... but there are a few it probably won't run at all, even on bare minimum, unfortunately.
