I'm having a tough time deciding, between UCL (AAA), Leeds (AAA) and Sheffield (AAB). Sheffield should be an insurance due to the lower offer, but I simply cannot choose between UCL and Leeds. The decision has to be made by 8th of May, but if I can only apply for accommodation after, will I be at a disadvantage, ie. I will have less of a chance to get into my first choices?

Some universities do have a first come first serve policy, whilst other allocate depending on how close the accommodation is to your study building. I know Cardiff is first come first serve.

It depends on the university. Some aren't first come first serve, and some don't make you choose them as your firm / insurance before you can apply for accommodation. Of course, some do!

Leeds isn't first come, first served so no rush!
