I am hoping to go to queens next year, and was also hoping to stay at elms village for the first year to experience the student life and have a bit of laugh. I was just wondering what chances I would have if I applied earlier despite already living in Belfast. Cheers.

Tbh I think you stand a good chance if you apply early, they say all first years are guaranteed a place at halls if they apply early, so I dont think theyd discriminate that by who lives the furthest or closest away tbh.

I applied for queens also and I live just outside of belfast but id apply for student accomodation also, purely because it sounds like it makes uni life ALOT more fun, and I couldnt be bothered battling through the rediculous traffic going into belfast every morning lol, it'd do my nut in.

But yeh, I think if you apply early you stand as good a chance as anyone,

    Good luck!
