Im thinking of following the ACCA route to becoming an accountant, they offer a route that combines accountancy exam tuition via distance learning with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Applied Accounting which is of interest to me as I did not attend uni and would like to apply for 'educated to degree level please' accountancy jobs upon qualification.
Does anyone have experience of ACCA distance learning (primarily with ACCA, not other providers like BPP or LSBF) that they could share with me? Anything I should be prepared for before I embark on it? Should I embark on it? Are there better routes?
Don't say we didn't warn you...
