Lool I TRÈS much look forward to the day I'll no longer have to google translate every Français sentence you say!
I've always had a thing for French...I've just ben in denial for sooo long

I find German sooo easy when it comes to communicating ideas...it's just that I can't necessarily do it in a grammatically correct manner! Octopus_Garden is often like..."You can say all that, but you haven't even learned how to use the accusative yet" ^^

Did they make sense?

Haha, it is interesting... How we're so different with languages. I can't string together a sentence.. :frown:

I'll probably persuade my mum to let me use my Christmas Amazon vouchers for an academic purpose

Etoile??

Haha,

Yeah, her username is etoile, she did French, Italian and German at A Level

Ooh that word looks somewhat familiar! I seee
What about 'Erfahrung' it looks similar to 'ervaring'
so I would have less trouble remembering that one

(I'm brain dead...Es tut mir leid if the sentence above is heavily "Dutschified"

Pick up the book you bought. Use book. Write in German.

Or just borrow Michel Thomas, Linguaphone, Take off in German, and then use that book.

Simples, to quote a TV meerkat.

I think. And then, das Angebot zu annehmen. You're right, it is a separable verb, but you don't separate it like that.

Your thinking was très bon!
Leider, 'können' c'est nasty la verbe!
ich: kann

You can say: "Ich kann nicht Deutsch sprechen"

Erfahrung is more of a discovery, I think. Does 'ervaring' actually mean experience in Dutch?

Doesn't mean I'm any good at it or show much accuracy  besides, I'm young, I still have a looooooooooooooooooooong way to go yet o.o
Anyone got a good website for German?

Not really  Bambirina helps me with the myriad of French and Italian mistakes I make. Ronove helps me when I have unnatural sounding German/when I say 'wie geht's MIT dir' -.- If I mess up my Spanish, Ronove is there for me too. My Dutch is guesswork. My Welsh relies on a grammar book half the time.

So. Ask me in ten years and we'll see where I am then. :3

I'm only in Year 11 next year, but I started Italian GCSE a year early as it was a class with people from my year and the year above. I'm the only one in my year wanting to do the A-Level so I have to join the year above's class again to do it.
