My reaction to your argument with him: 'Apply cold water to burn.'

    Good idea

I'm loving it how he didn't even bother replying to me

Well... (not even attempting to do this in Spanish, I'm not good enough )
Before I start, do excuse my poor Italian. I'm still a beginner. Please correct my mistakes.

Spanish is, in my opinion, the easiest Romance language. It's quite a good language to 'casually' take up.

    Ahh, French questions are difficult...

So many apostrophes and hyphens and unpronounced letters.

Why would you get banned?

This is hilarious  I usually don't get into arguments, but when I do... *war cry*

Your Italian is quite good 'Piacciono' is 'they like', 'you like' would be either 'piaci' or 'piacete' (the first being informal, the second formal).

I did just notice that you have Hong Kong as your location, I was going to ask you whether you spoke Chinese! I am afraid I am very much a beginner, but you've got to start somewhere...

But what does he expect, dissing languages on the languages forum?! All he'll get is a tidal wave of annoyed, protective linguists and wannabe-linguists

Thanks! But I thought piacere conjugates according to the thing that is 'liked', not the person that likes it, no?

Of course, as I do with Italian.
