You have a pretty bad headache, and it was really hurting?
    http://img.pokemondb.net/artwork/tangela.jpg

    Ist dies ein Kinderlied?

    In Holland stands a house
In the house lives a man
And the man kisses his wife/a woman
And the woman kisses a child.

Is that right? Dutch has relative clauses, too, I see.
I did indeed have a pretty bad headache which I found to be really really hurtful last nightl!

Wauw! Ja, dit is een kinderliedje! You managed to make some sense of a very old nursery song that's written in what I call "Toddler Dutch" you got 2/4!
The last line: "En die vrouw die kiest een kind" means "And that/the woman CHOOSES a child! :P
I think the word 'kies' is distantlyrelated to the word we now know as 'chosse' (great consonant shift and all...) Just like the words 'cheese' and the German 'Käse'

    Keine Ahnung!

Something about fetching water, knocking on a door, a king and a church? One two three?

    I'm completely wrong, aren't I?
Hahaha nice try! But there was no knocking on doors in this rhyme! But I can see what you did there - klompen' = 'cloggs' & 'to knock' = 'kloppen'
Again "toddler Dutch" is practically impossible to translate into standard language, let alone that of a foreign one! xD

    But google translate says...

    Zwei Eimer Wasser holen
    Zwei Eimer Pumpen
    Die Mädchen auf die Holzschuhe
    Die Jungen auf ihrem Holzbein
Fahren Sie durch meinen Rücken Gate

    Ihrer race race race
Ausführen des Königs durch das Pool
    Von Ihrem Fortsetzung Fortsetzung Fortsetzung
Fahren Sie durch das Tor des Königs
Ausführen des Königs in die Kirche
Von deinen eins... zwei .... drei

(The English translation would have made even less sense!) lol

I suppose nursery rhymes and similar are always awful to translate. Take "oopsy-daisy"! (I know you can translate that into Danish: "oop-se dass" or something.) There are some German drinking songs I just don't get, too!

Hovsa dasse? (Danish). Though I am reliably informed that you only say it when someone else has done something, not when you're the one that's cocked up.

    Probably!

Don't we only say "oopsy-daisy" to other people, too?

I think I'd be just as inclined to say it about something I did as well, though I'd only ever be doing it to be funny (as it sounds pretty stupid anyway).
