    Basically French teachers said they noticed that my French is a whole step up from everyone else... So they offered A2 early (I said no, because I don't want to mess up) but she said to take the B2 Proficiency Test this year... DELF? Or something...

    And to set up extra orals and attend the Oxbridge Language candidates Year 13 classes...

    Chuffed, now I have 2 French books to have a look at!

    Awesome :-) If only my school was that good for top pupils. While I am doing GCSE italian I'd much rather do AS French early. Do universities even care that much?

    Oui! Mais lorsque je fais des erreurs, pouvez-vous les "correcter"? Merci.

    About early A Levels. I was told that universities completely ignore it. One even told me that if you did AS Maths in Year 11, universities acted like you didn't have it, so it would be impossible to be accepted for a Maths degree! This seems utterly absurd.

    It's actually quite true... It's more of a hassle to do just an AS.

    The verb is *Corriger in French.
    Et tu peux te reférer à moi en tant que "tu", tu sais.

    Oui, avec plaisure (<- franglish :teehee:).

    It's not in the right order: "me" should come before "le" -> "Je me le rappelerai".

    Et bien, moi, je n'ai pas fini mes devoirs...

    I'd say "Ça fait des siècles que je ne t'ai pas parlé."

    Hey, what's with the angry emoticon? Hope it's not directed at me.
    Um, yeah, siècles... C'est une expression courante avec ce mot.

    Siècles = Centuries.
    Un siècle = A century.
    But in this case it means 'ages'.

    Really worried I have made the wrong choice about doing French at A Level. I am worried about the listening and speaking.

    Speaking is 40% of the grade. You'll build it up and practising will help. French and Chemistry are my favourite.
