I am currently in the process of completing me Navy application form....

However i was just wandering i dont know too much about the NAVY obviously i am looking to learn, i learn best through books btw.

Anyone know of any good books that give you a general good knowledge about the NAVY?

    All help welcome!

The website will have details of all of the ships, bases and roles that you will need to know for your interview and in making an informed decision. Books wise there aren't that many contemporary ones really, look at those by 'Chris Terrill', such as the book (and documentary) 'Shipmates'- and start buying the Navy News which will give you up to date information and developments. Any idea what you want to join as?

I'm in the middle of joining as well (actually got my fitness test tomorrow).

I've just used their website and Navy News. Navy News has an online archive so you don't have to buy it and can always read up on previous things that have gone on.

What are you planning to do?
Have you ever experienced racism/sexism at uni?
