Hi all! I'm currently trying to decide between two programs: one is an M.St. in American Studies at Oxford and the other is an MPhil in American Literature at Cambridge. I really like both of the programs on paper, but I'd like to hear what some actual students think about it, or just opinions from students who go to either Cambridge or Oxford about the overall experience in either town/university. I know the Oxford-Cambridge rivalry is pretty strong, so that makes it hard to get an honest assessment from students there. So please give me your honest, candid opinions, especially if you've studied English at either university. Thanks!

I had a similar dilemma and chose the MPhil at Cambridge. Let's face it; they're the same university though. I'd make a choice based on staff and modules because each place is pleasant and well-regarded.
