So guys, basically I have a Head Girl Interview on Monday! I am so nervous and I urgently need some tips and advice. If you could give me any ideas on what they might ask me? I have 3 other fellow contenders to beat, so I need to make myself stand out! Any advice?

I haven't been through the process myself but I know these are usually the sorts of things they ask:
-Why you want to be head girl
-What you can offer the school that others can not
- If you do any extra curricular activities
-How good your grades are
-What kind of role model you will be for the school
-How you will help the school improve during your time in that position
Tips:
- Smile: they'll want someone who is happy and positive
- Dress smartly and appropriately: they won't want someone who doesn't look like they are taking it seriously
- Try not to stress or worry beforehand: nervous energy may be noticed during your interview and it may make them apprehensive as well
- Sell yourself: it may seem obvious but make sure that you show them all your best attributes and prove you are the best candidate
- Ask questions: it is often seen as a good thing when a candidate asks questions as it shows them taking an interest and wanting to be as well prepared as possible. Possible question could be things like 'What kind of jobs will I be able to get involved in?' or 'What will be my best way to contribute to this school?'
(Make sure you ask questions that are not just for the sake of asking but make you sound like you want to make things better- also have back-up answers; people are fond of bouncing the question back to test your reactions e.g. 'Well, how do YOU think you could best contribute to this school?')
Most importantly, stay calm, positive and prepared. You will not be the only one who is nervous about the interview so keep your chin up and believe you can do it!
Good Luck!

- How will you keep your grades up while fulfilling your duties?
- What would you do differently to/better than your predecessors?
Good luck!

Hey I'm head boy at my school .. Here's what I'd recommend:
How will you raise the reputation of the sixth form for the rest of the school
How will you plan to work with other year groups
Evidence of time management skills
How you'll help the social atmosphere of your sixth form
How you'll keep up your studies whilst taking the responsibility on
Who you will delegate to
