Okay so I received an offer from Brunel university for Accounting and Finance and the offer is AAB with a B in A level maths.. But the thing is I don't do A level maths???

I knew applying there would be a bit of a long shot cos they do ask for a B in maths as an entry requirement but it also said 'candidates who show enthusiasm or interest in the subject will also be considered' - or something along them lines. I'm planning on ringing them about it and just visited their site and found that the thing about enthusiasm has changed to -

'Applicants who have already achieved at least ABB at A-level and have Personal Statements showing a strong interest in the course and transferable skills will also be considered.'

Just wanted some advice on what to say or what to expect when I call them? Thanks in advance!

Yes I'd phone them and if they ask why you applied, mention your reason ' there would be a bit of a long shot cos they do ask for a B in maths as an entry requirement but it also said 'candidates who show enthusiasm or interest in the subject will also be considered'

    hope all goes well!
