do you think it would be good for some of the matches they play maybe in Friendly matches that they played in stadiums other than wembley , i think it would be a good idea because if you were from Wigan and you didnt want to travel down to London just to see England play then if they played games at say Old Trafford then that fan could watch them play at a lower cost?

anyway what do you think and if you agree where should games be played?

Well considering how much they spent on Wembley stadium and how little it is used, I think they should stick to playing there.

Why not use the best stadium in the world after spending so much to build it?

London is relatively easy for most people to get to anyway. Dont really see how most of the country benefits from having games in say Manchester over London really.

Plus its traditional anyway. Wembley is iconic all over the world and its a great advert for the country imo.

Wembley is certainly not the best stadium in the world, nor is it iconic. The old Wembley Stadium whilst technically poor by the end of its run was an iconic stadium, the new one is just another generic bowl-shaped modern football stadium.

It's a very impressive sight to look at but extremely poor for football purposes. Club Wembley and excessive sponsorship tickets put a lot of pompous idiots in the ground and makes it impossible to generate a good atmosphere. The refreshments are painfully overpriced, the tickets are overpriced, the area around the ground is a dump with very few matchday pubs, the security is atrocious and the whole venue lacks any soul or special feeling.

The ground is a perfect advert for the costly, oversanitized BSkyB era of modern football.

    Sour grapes.

Yes it's expensive, but the atmosphere tends to be pretty good for cup games etc-it's only crap for England games because England are crap and mostly play games against countries that don't really matter/or are friendlies.
